Talking of which, we are working on a complete build here UKBN Dummy and would love some opinions if anyone has two minutes, currently battling with code and search functionality to create a database driven back end.

Thanks!

Just done a complete re-design of the main Kip FX site, would love feedback if you get 5 minutes please guys and gals.

Is there enough info?
What shouldn't there be?
What should there be?
Any typos?

The normal stuff please people.

Remember if you have visited it recently you will need to refresh. Thank you!

Gotta be honest...I loved the previous.

I liked the paint at the top.

Where's it gone?

Had to get one that could handle more content on it Doug mate, this one allows for some better gallery styles (watch this space) and a whole lot more content, without looking like it is bleeding out of the frames!

I'm a lover of white space.
I like a splash of paint too.

On the positive, there going to be more content? Great. Let have a ganders.

I agree I loved the white space and the splash of paint, but Kip knows far more than me about what drives and delivers people and bots to the site.
I have learnt so far that it is all about contents and the correct sort of content, I leave Kip to do what he does best and I'll deal with the funds

Looking Modern, but not to put a bucket of water on your flames of excitement Kip, your site has some validation errors buddy.

The home page = 7 errors, 1 warning.

Prices Page = 134 errors, 2 warnings.

About Page = 7 errors, 0 warnings.

Services Page = 12 errors, 0 warnings.

I will not put any more here as i feel like i am being cruel, to check your script's validation quality to the W3C Standards level use this link below buddy!

W3C HTML Compliancy Checker.

All minor amendments to the script buddy will fix these and allow you to also promote that your site is then W3C Compliant.

But as a couple of people have mentioned the paint graphic worked well and the pure white back was fresh and worked well IMO.

How about using what you have but putting a hint of the paint lines across the top right or left corner at an angle of 45 degree's ish.

If you wish to fit more content within the same area use tab sections for this, see a good tutorial here:

3 state CSS Tabs

I hope this helps,

as always, if you need a helping hand just shout.
