The Mattched IT Blog (written by yours truly) is here: http://www.mattchedit.com/Blog.aspx

Some really good posts in the works - just a bit too busy to get them written up and edited at the moment!

Have actually bounced around the new blogs, and like what I see, Colin and Matt's blogs I know fairly well, and always on the button.

I have not read one selfish blog from any of you, which just confirms my pride in the N2 members, real, solid, helpful people!

Woohoo! Keep it up people

There are definitely some good 'uns out there. I thought I'd raise a related point for debate, though.

Why do you blog?

If I had to give a few reasons why I write the MIT blog, they would be:

1. It's a good way to build and interact with an audience. This amounts to good marketing/advertising, ultimately. There are also SEO benefits, et al - generally it's good for promoting MIT.

2. I enjoy writing and discussing subjects. Although I tend to control my tone (latest blog post - yesterdays - is a bit more au natural though!) and I try to focus on a slant which nudges readers towards the services we offer, I still enjoy writing the posts.

3. The occasional really good comment gets posted, which can sometimes even change your opinion on the subject matter - rare - but sometimes folks will take the time to comment and it will be a right stonker!

I have to admit, I started blogging for SEO purposes, but that soon changed, it is in my nature to help out where I can, so have now evolved into (what I like to think) is a more informative, helpful blogger, tutorials, guides and advice.
