There are definitely some good 'uns out there. I thought I'd raise a related point for debate, though.
Why do you blog?
If I had to give a few reasons why I write the MIT blog, they would be:
1. It's a good way to build and interact with an audience. This amounts to good marketing/advertising, ultimately. There are also SEO benefits, et al - generally it's good for promoting MIT.
2. I enjoy writing and discussing subjects. Although I tend to control my tone (latest blog post - yesterdays - is a bit more au natural though!) and I try to focus on a slant which nudges readers towards the services we offer, I still enjoy writing the posts.
3. The occasional really good comment gets posted, which can sometimes even change your opinion on the subject matter - rare - but sometimes folks will take the time to comment and it will be a right stonker!
