GoogleWave

GoogleWave

Postby Kerri Carrier » 30 Nov 2009, 09:15

Thought I'd start a new topic while I wait for my payment to run.

I have 14 Googlewave invites to give away and I would rather they went to business types than just giving them all to my friends. I imagine most of you are already on Googlewave (and if so why are you not my contact!! ), but if you are not and would like one just let me know.

Better get back to job 1, but I will be popping in throughout the day to see if anyone has taken me up on my offer.

Haha, I think I am OK, I have Google wave for UKBizNet, KipFX & The Google Wave Developers, still learning G-Wave, let alone the developer one! But the intention is to put N2 right into G-Wave!

And being a tenacious kinda guy, I think I shall pull it off!

I'm useless at all this technical stuff, but thanks to Kip have GW and apparently have 8 invitations to give away also.

I have no idea how to add people so I'll add my GW email address here instead: seanstevens75@googlewave.com

To add a contact, there is a plus sign next to the "manage contacts" box, click that and paste in the email address of the person you want to add.
Hopefully this should work. I have added you to my Googlewave.

So Google Wave appears to have turned into 'Buzz'. I'm sure that Google will make certain it competes with Twitter and Facebook. I can't get my head around any of them so am going to sit back and watch. At least for the time being.

Pretty much the same here. Buzz seems to be IN ADDITION TO Wave, which makes even less sense. Possibly just a bit of trying-to-hop-on-the-real-time-twitter-band-wagon from Google?
