OK, some opionions wanted ...

To send out Christmas cards or not? (and I mean the proper stamp on envelope cards, not the e-card variety).

A few years ago we didn't bother and I'm sure our business suffered a bit (although how can one tell really?)

What's the feeling ... are they a nice gesture or are they a definate no-no in todays cost and environmentally concious world?

Yes, yes, Yes, been doing a few designs for people, and it is a must!

Its them that keep us going!

Nothing worse than a drab office. Xmas is worth it.

I love receieving xmas cards from my suppliers, makes you feel like the work you have done with them throughout the year is appreciated, a must for all companies :lol:

Not decided what I am doing about cards this year, should I send them? Then again I am a VA so perhaps a charity email card would be more appropriate.

Yeah, I think I'll go for it. To me, much as I subscribe to the "don't print this unless you have to" agenda I do think that it's an opportunity to show existing clients that you're there and to remind past clients that you still exist.

Now, to find some suitable webby cards :)

Why don't you design your own, clients love that, I nearly got Kerri some Kip FX Design translucent business cards for one of her Xmas presents, lesson learned, Clients love the personal touch, wives do not!

Kez has one, we are sure she was pregnant before we met, but the little demon is my protege, or nemesis, not figured out which lol!

Sending out Christmas cards to your clients is a must, such a nice, easy little marketing reminder that you are there and that you appreciate their business. Personally I think e-cards are a no no, they just aren't personal, besides people, including me, love having those snow scenes around the office.
