Government Contracts

Government Contracts

Postby seanstevens » 19 Nov 2009, 15:20

Anyone have any experience at bidding for Government contracts? I have the chance to put forward a proposal to to collect some cash from some schools in London (my bullet proof vest is in the post ) but have no idea what of information they usually like to see in this kind of thing as I guess a normal quote won't be good enough for this type of contract.

:?: :?:

Is this not just a Government Tender you are looking to pitch for?

If so then may be worth contacting the local council as they all have their own Tender website that all companies in the local regions can apply for accordingly and these are updated daily.

Get in touch with your local council today any how if you have not already?

Good Luck with the pitch.

Thanks to all.. This will be a first attempt and I'm not sure what to expect so will go in with confidence but will use it as a learning experience so that next time I can hit them hard. With the Government in so much debt there should be some good contracts up for grabs in the next 12-18 months as they will need to improve their debt collection numbers in all areas.... having an inept Government could actually work out well
