Public liability insurance?

Public liability insurance?

Postby thetopcopy » 17 Nov 2009, 20:45

I'm a freelance copywriter and am planning to run some seminars for local businesses. I've realised that I need public liability insurance in order to do this - but I know nothing about it. Does anyone have any provider recommendations? And roughly how much is it likely to cost?

Many thanks,

Claire

I have an excellent insurance guy, I will get hold of him first as don't like to pass on details unless it is OK with people, but he has always pointed me in the right direction, if he thinks somebody else has a better option, he will tell you who and where, good honest chap in a world gone mad!

Hi Claire

Basically yes you should have public liability insurance - alot of places would may even need you to have it before allowing you to continue.

Am more then happy to look at this for you if you want me to. In terms of price alot of what ifs involved, so impossible to say without getting more information.

Hope this helps.
