Cash is King, or is it?

Cash is King, or is it?

Postby Kip FX Design » 14 Nov 2009, 15:29

Just had a customer turn up with £250 cash, I had nearly forgotten what cash looks like, everything is on cards or TT nowadays, so what is it that is so nice about having a wad in your pocket, the wife knew I had it, so it wasn't a cheeky back pocket filler, the taxman will know about it through invoices etc, so if there is no actual benefit to being paid in cash . . .

. . . why does it feel so nice?

Cash takes you back to when times were simply. Nowadays with credit cards and the like you always have to think about if you have enough or not and make sure you do not overspend, with cash there is no overspending.

No better feeling that a few crisp notes in the palm of your hand 8-)
