SAHM or WAHM....

Postby LGJ » 05 Apr 2010, 15:06

Having quit work in 2007 to look after my little girl, I thought of starting something I could do at home and had a fab idea for a site directed at mums in the area but that soon ran into the ground as I very quickly got pregnant with number 2!!!!!!!

SO really, months later, (Sofia is nearly 4 and Michael is 17 months) I have now embarked on sorting myself out. The day is centered around looking after the kids, cleaning, washing, feeding and keeping distracted. Sofia is at school 2.5 days a week so that is good for some *me* time and some *mikey* time. In September she starts full time school and so that leaves me with only one to worry about. In between all this time, I chat on Twitter, have set up Sofia's Kitchen which is a website that will deal with Iranian/Middle Eastern Cuisine, recipes, catering and hard to get a hold of ingredients. I network online in the Crafts and Gifts community as along with my brother we organise fairs (done a couple of small ones but April 25th is a biggie for us!!) and generally try to do as much as I can for Project 65 and network network network!!

I'm not the best domestic goddess in the world but the house is still here, and there is a hot meal on the table at nights so I'm fairly happy.....

lol!
