Amazing, isn't it, the things that get you irritated? Things that the rest of the world accept and ignore, but somehow they get inside your head and frustrate the hell out of you.

My pet peeve is the stupid addition of .9 pence to the price of each litre of petrol. Can you imagine if I tried to sell business cards for £35.009 per 500 that I would escape unscathed. Not only would I be ridiculed, but no doubt I would be infringing some little known law, and face some kind of threatened prosecution.

Why is it that I get so worked up about this - but the rest of the world happily accepts it?

Anyone else got pet hates?

Mine is bad manners!

I will (and do) boycott shops completely if their staff cannot learn to say please and thankyou, or sit there chatting about their holidays or nights out with their friends whilst serving you! Proper gets me angry!

As a SME we work double hard to make sure our clients are happy, but manners should come naturally, people are not training their staff properly!
