Hello everyone. My name is James Goodger and I work for Northampton business school. I was told about this website and I hope I am putting this information in the right section. Please read below regarding our new publically funded project with website listed below...
Northampton University Business School will again be delivering a Route to Market 2010 programme, and your organisation may qualify to receive free training to support your business. In the current economic climate times are tough but this publically funded project aims to help owners and senior managers in their desire to succeed by improving and developing their skills.
Route to Market 2010 is a free programme, designed for SMEs in the East Midlands that have been operating for at least one year, employ at least five people, and have a turnover of at least £100,000.
The programme, consisting of five one day workshops, will help businesses to:
Develop a strategy to take the business forward
Retain and maximise their current customer base
Understand how to recruit and develop the best team
Develop and/or refine a sales and marketing plan
Improve their financial controls and cash flow management.
Route to Market is delivered in a series of participative workshops delivered by business support specialists over five days. It is made up of:
Part 1 - a one day workshop covering Business Strategy
Part 2 – a two day workshop covering Sales and Marketing and Finance
Part 3 - a second two day workshop covering Customer Retention and Recruitment and Development
These workshops will be held at locations in each county in the East Midlands.
Each business can send up to two managers to attend the workshops.
