Networking Now

Here is a really bizzare method for networking, it may shock some of you, but I tried it last night, and it actually works!

Face to Face!

I met Leon of Wobbly Jobs at his home last night, simply because I was in the area and Twittered it out where I was, had a message that I should have shoot in for Coffee, so I did!

After a while talking about different projects we actually met face to face, and even got to try some of Mrs Leon's home made chocolate thingymajigs, very nice by the way, his daughter and most important his sanctum sanatorium, home sweet home, to be honest, Leon is exactly the same in person, opinionated, head strong, morally pure and certainly not a wall flower, I would like to think we are cut of the same cloth.

So here is a novel idea for one and all, if you have someone on twitter you can relate to, on a forum, via social networking, why not meet over a coffee, seems quite a new idea huh? :D

Remember, if you are networking for selfish gain, it may not be as effective, as you may have to pay for the coffee yourself one day.

For me, Networking Works! So get Networking NOW!

Well, if anyone is ever in the area give me a shout, I know a few nice places to get a coffee around here.. it's just difficult to drive past from the mainland without getting damp.. ;) :mrgreen:

I agree! Anyone ever in Leicestershire (well Whitwick or Coalville) give me a bell and I will pop the kettle on! You never know!!

I love to do it, as soon as I tell people what I do they usually stop talking :?
