Networking Now

OK, so today is the 7 day anniversary of Networking now, still a new born in the world of Networking forums I admit, but I know of a few people already trading and doing business with each other on here, that is pretty damn good for a site less than a week old.

Doug and I have swapped emails and phone calls for a short while now, and I actually had the pleasure of his company last night, he popped in for an hour or so to complete our first trade with each other, and we also (but virtue of the type of people we both are) discussed quite a few things that will help people out with their businesses.

It was more informal than formal, we sat in our kitchen having a chat and a giggle, and glad to say that he is a really good chap, I have told him a few times that when I first seen his posts on a different forum and found him a tad short, but I never judge people by a few lines of text, seldom is the real person portrayed through the written word, unless a professional biography! After having spoke with Doug on a few different matters, I find him bang on the button with most things, and I believe we are same wavelength, which could be quite scary :).

But we are both agreed that we will be doing a lot more together from now on out, so thanks to my first successful link up on here, just remember if you are reading this, you can always affect people in a positive or a negative way, I am seriously hoping that anybody coming into our little virtual forum family choose the former.

We do not want to be just another forum, we want to be the best we can be for each other. And out of some 30 odd members in a week, we have seen more drive, dedication, optimism, intelligence, 100% positivity and unselfish advice between our small group than out of the 2000+ members on the forum where we originally first met up.

So I end with A Thank You to the N2 Members, without who none of the excitement and pride I feel today would be possible, and I seriously look forward to our future on N2, and maybe we should arrange a physical networking event around the 12 month anniversary and see just how many people we have helped, mentored, coached, done business with and become buddies with.
