Yes Michael very scary indeed, again, it seems to be a port of call from start ups, shame really, they do so much spam advertising that people cannot help but think of them when they need something.

Though I so think Steve Willet's post will be good for some people, I cannot beat that price, but then I design all of my clients work from scratch, so it all depends what they are after, I may give you a call actually, as my go-to-printers cannot print some of the sizes I need, a shame, as they really are an excellent outfit, but refuse to expand to larger stuff, which I am glad of as they will not lose any of their personal touch and hands on approach!

Hi Kip,

Just to mention that the prices shown on my earlier post do not include any design service by me or the printing company just simply a link to the final print company.

I would approach Kip for the design or possibly my self as a second solution.

As Blue Peter always say, "here is one i made earlier" for a small side project.

As you can see sharp print, crisp edges and vibrant colours.

These particular cards are the Laminated cards, single sided in this case and I ordered 500 at a cost of £35 + VAT £5.25 = £40.25 + Delivery £9.98 (inc vat)

Total cost to me = £50.23 (based on my own submitted artwork files)

Okay, I am lost. Client wants me to get him some business cards. Supplier and design of cards is up to me!

What do I go for? I want double sided I think, not sure yet what I am putting on the reverse yet but will sort that, but do I want laminated, thicker card, silk, gloss ????

Am only going to go for a small quantity of say 250 for the first print run.

I would try out the one that Steve has mentioned, That is a pretty good price Helen, with a reco from a print/design guy so they must be good to have his name on them, design you can use a standard template by the looks of it, or you could get a designer on the case, and yes it is a shameless plug, but at the end of the day, the important thing is that you get the right job done at the right place.

Good luck!
