Getting to Grips With Google Wave

Getting to Grips With Google Wave

Postby Kip FX Design » 10 Nov 2009, 13:25

OK, so this is a bit of a bragging tutorial and a bit of information too, it tells you how to create a Public Wave, by adding a contact called public@a.gwave.com and adding them to the wave/conversation, this is purely for a wave that you would like to be made public, maybe you are after advice, sharing advice or would like a brainstorming session to help you with your work or an article you may be writing.

This are just ideas, you could obviously add a public wave for anything you feel like making public.

Hope this helps!

Here I show you how to add a Plugin – Gadget – Widget to Google Wave, I am doing this live, without trialling it first, this shows you just how easy Google Wave is to use, using the Google Earth/World plug in, as it is the first one I found!

Enjoy!

Maybe those of us with a few spare invitations left should make ourselves known incase anyone wants in on the fun(?) ..?

I've got a few left if anyone wants to drop me a PM with the email address I should invite!

Or should I be less helpful (cheekier) and say if you sign up to our newsletter and I've got enough to go around I'll share them..!

Kidding - first come first served, though - drop me a PM - if you're interested in signing up it's a bonus. ;)

I have kindly been sent the invite (Thank you kindly Kip!) and have registered all my details; I can create a new contact etc, but cannot for the life of me get my added contacts to appear in the contacts section on the left.

I think they may still be setting this up as my "settings" under the Navigation section is showing this message:

Under Construction: Settings wave

This wave is where you will be able to customize your personal options and extensions, but we are still working on it.

Just bear with us and we'll update you when there's something to look at.

Happy waving!

Dr. Wave

Any suggestions? or do you think it is still in the process of being set up? Almost a week now at least!

If any one fancy's adding me as a contact just send me a PM for my Wave address.

Also i have 7 invites remaining for Wave compliments of Kip, best reason for why you should have one wins? All reasons should be posted here and the members of Networking Now all decide who wins.

Get your funny, ridiculous, and ass kissing reasons in now!
