Happy New Year to you all firstly,

I have been of the radar for the past few weeks, but now the focus is back on and the VOIP is my next priority, monies in place for next week so need to get arranging this.

So i am looking at the packages kindly shown to me by Helen (Thank you), I am looking at making quite a few outbound landline and mobile calls, I notice the VoIPtalk Unlimited Package and this is my choice at the moment but as a customer already Helen I would like to ask if you have any last minute advice or recomendations?

The beauty of Voiptalk is that you can upgrade if needed, so I would be tempted to go for the lower one till you find you are exceeding your allowance. I made a 60 min teleseminar call on my account when I was being interviewed by Efficiency Coach and it looks like it was only 1p minute but came out of my inclusive call allowance, I do have credit balance on my account as I topped up just in case it wasnt included.

I have been using Voiptalk for most of my outgoing calls of late and cant complain about the service.

Good luck with your new venture and remember to give me a shout when you are ready for call answering! It will work on your voiptalk number :p

Hi All,

Just a quick update regarding the progress to date:

I have now ordered the Snom 370 (Snow Edition) VoIP Phone and I have decided to go for the VoIP 1000 as Helen mentioned initially but will upgrade accordingly if required.

The phone should be with me tomorrow so i will let you all know how i get on with it soon.

I will try to post some pics.......

Got the brand new phone in place and I chose to go with the VoIP system through the supplier Helen mentioned, so far so good, simple setup and configuration, the sound quality is excellent, and the phone is out of this world, I purchased the "snow edition" Snom 370 phone system (image below) and I have started with the £4.99 package and will upgrade if required will see how the next couple of months go with the package and review to see if an upgrade is required.

Just found the small print Sean, it doesn't include calls to mobile or 08 numbers, which seems ridiculous considering it allows free calls to USA!

I will be using say no to 0870 more now and making mobile calls from my mobile, but having done the research cant find a voip supplier who does include them.

Someone seriously needs to sort out the telecoms charging in our country!
