Hey
Thought I'd drop a note in here, I blogged recently about marketing/advertising, specifically the small fleet of annoying people that happen to be in town centres a lot these days.
Is a costly advertising campaign, and the same old tired story for direct marketing really good value for money? I don't think so.
A while ago, with a friend, I tried to change this, and unfortunately, we didn't have the right words to say, didn't know how to approach companies properly and it never went anywhere.
Companies like T-Mobile, and to some extent Virgin are on the ball - or at least their marketing departments/agencies are. Very good attraction-point public displays, personality and feeling, giving people a reason to pull their mobile out and slap a video up on youtube. Something to tweet about.
There are many many ways to entice an audience, and to bring attention to your brand - read my post, http://blog.ianbarrs.co.uk/draft-old-ag ... ficient-an , and keep me in mind.
